Handlebars
and Indicator Lights
![]()
| Below: I had come up with an idea for a short aluminum tube mounted on the handlebars that would have LED lights inside it, to replace the indicator lights that used to be in the stock dash. Those lights included the left and right turn indicators, the high beam indicator, the low oil warning indicator, and the neutral indicator. My idea is in the image below. It was done with Paint Shop Pro and was just basically in the idea stage of development when I posted this image on The Chopper Underground forum. |

| Below:
I like to give credit
where credit is due; A member of the forum who uses the name
"Shadowman" took my idea and ran with it. According to him, he
"likes to build stuff" and put together the unbelievably
beautiful set of lights, bars, and risers you see below.
But he took the idea farther than that. He added some 4 1/2" pike lights to the end of the bar with the lights. He was hoping I could use them for the front turn signals, but I have to keep our original aftermarket signals in place because the LEDs in the pike lights aren't large enough to satisfy the Wisconsin state regulations on required equipment. Don't you think he did a beautiful job?!? |

| Above and Below; The headlight was apart because while preparing to wire in the bar lights, problems were discovered with the original electrical connectors. All those bulky connectors will hopefully be replaced soon by OEM Japanese style bullet connectors. |

|
Below: The image is blurry, please accept our apologies. We include it only to put the size of these awesome pike lights in perspective. The lighter is a standard size disposable Bic™ |

|
Below: This image is also a little blurry. Our camera is not one of the top models, but it works. You can get a better idea here of the nice job Shadowman did on the LED indicator lights. |

|
Note: The 4" dog bone risers and the 7/8" drag bars came from Cycle-Re-Cycle. The 4 1/2" pike lights came from Orange Brothers Choppers |
