   The rectangular mini-markers for turn signals that I got from J.C.Whitney were just too hard to see in daylight. They were good looking on the bike, but there was a problem with the poor quality bulbs blowing out constantly from vibration. Every time the bike was ridden, at least one bulb would blow, and once all 4 went out within 10 miles. The bulbs come from J.C.Whitney too, and I was seriously looking at having to stock several dozen of them just to get through one season!

   A friend who posts at The Chopper Underground forum offered me a set of bullet signals he'd taken off his bike and no longer needed. Today I had time to get the new lights on the bike. These take standard automotive bulbs and are much brighter. I plan to convert these to LED bulbs when I have time.
