New Subframe, Page 8

Below: The new subframe was made from the upright parts of the original, and the rear "hoop" from the frame of an early Yamaha XS650 (Not one of my better ideas - changes are coming). The hoop was cut and re-welded to make it narrower, and the uprights were welded to it. The reinforced holes that once held the mono-shock pre-load controls were re-made to accommodate shock mounts cut from the XS650 donor frame. It is now complete, but not yet painted.
